Police dreams occur when one aspect of your evolving identity is challenged by the ‘critic’ or the ‘patrolling’ aspect of the psyche. Sometimes the message is important: slow down. At other times, the police will come to ‘inspect’ the changes you are making, playing those time worn disciplinary tapes. Associated with the ‘inner critic,’ encountering police is often occurring because you may either need to step out of the lines to transform or some aspect of your current behavior is undergoing scrutiny.
